Ashley- Junior Barn Manager

Ashley has been involved with horses since before she could walk. As the daughter of Beth Sweeney, Ashley lives on the premises at Coltie's Place and is in the barn at least 5 days a week. She has been working hard as a serious rider since age 4, and, now at 16 years old, still aspires to climb to higher levels each day. Recently, Ashley has just started showing in the Pre-Children's Division (2 foot, 6 inches) in local horse shows and has been learning how to train horses, by aiding Beth in training horses at Coltie's Place. Ashley owns lesson pony Annie and horse Josh, (both of whom she has sadly outgrown), and has leased Lauren's horse Bailey, as well as worked with Beth's horse Spinner. She has just recently bought a new Quarter Horse gelding named Beau.

Ashley's future goals include working with her new horse to become the best team they can be and eventually attending Delaware Valley College, where she plans on double majoring in Equine Studies and Creative Writing, as well as joining the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association DVCET Hunt Seat Team.
