Coltie's Place has a unique program that, through the teaching of Beth Sweeney, shows the student the proper care and responsibility
of the horse, as well as learning the proper positions in the saddle. Before their lesson, students are taught the proper way to groom
and tack their horses, as well as the care that is needed after they ride their horse. Our program encourages students to bond with
their horse by spending time with them. By building this bond, students will have more confidence and trust in themselves, their horse,
and their riding skill. Coltie's Place puts a strong emphasis on the safety and well-being of the horse and rider. Riders are required
to have: riding helmets (provided for the first month until student purchases their own), long pants, and boots with a heel.
